Hi, I'm Caleb.

I'm a San Diego photographer helping brands, athletes, events, and individuals tell their stories through honest, intentional imagery.

My approach is simple: create photographs that feel authentic, connect with people, and serve a purpose beyond looking good.

How I Got Here

Photography has been part of my life since I was 16 years old, when my dad gave me a camera for my birthday. What started as curiosity quickly became a way of understanding the world and connecting with people.

Since then, photography has taken me from college events and sports venues to brand campaigns, community organizations, and personal milestones. No matter the project, I'm drawn to the same thing: people and their stories.

I Think Beyond The Photo

Through my work in sports, events, filmmaking, and marketing, I've become fascinated by the role visual storytelling plays in how people connect. Whether it's helping a brand communicate its identity, documenting a meaningful moment, or capturing the energy of an event, I believe great imagery should do more than simply look beautiful. It should make people feel something.

Whether I'm photographing a brand, athlete, event, or individual, I'm thinking about how the images will be used and the story they need to tell.

Film & Digital

I photograph with both 35mm film and digital cameras.

Film slows me down and encourages intentional image-making. The grain, imperfections, and unpredictability often create images that feel timeless and human.

Digital gives me the flexibility to move quickly, adapt to changing environments, and deliver efficiently when projects demand speed.

I primarily shoot 35mm film with Leica cameras and digital with Sony systems, choosing the medium based on the story we're trying to tell rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
