It's one of the first things people ask me, and it should be easy to find. So here it is, plainly.
Portrait sessions start at $300. That covers one hour together, one location, and 30 or more edited images delivered to a private gallery. Grad sessions start at $350, and your family is welcome to join. Graduating with friends? Each extra grad is $150. Couples and engagement sessions start at $400 for 90 minutes, up to two nearby locations, and 50 or more edited images. Events start at $400 with a two-hour minimum, and weddings are by inquiry, so we'll talk those through together.
Every shoot is a little different, so think of those numbers as starting points. If you're picturing something specific, tell me and I'll give you a clear number before anything is booked.
What you're paying for
The hour of shooting is the part you see. Around it there's planning, editing, and for film, developing and scanning. Every session includes a style consult, where we plan outfits and locations together on our planning call, so you show up feeling ready.
I shoot 35mm film, digital, or a mix of both. Film is slower and more intentional, with grain and color that feel timeless. Digital is fast and flexible. Most shoots use some of each, and we'll decide together what fits you.
How booking works
Pick a time on the Book your session page, or text or email me with any questions first. Once I confirm your date, a 50% non-refundable retainer locks it in. The remaining balance is due by invoice before your gallery is delivered. If you need to reschedule with sufficient notice, your retainer can be transferred once to a new date.
Anywhere in San Diego County is included. Farther out, I'll quote a flat travel fee up front.
When your photos arrive
You'll get 3 sneak peeks within 48 hours. Digital galleries arrive in 1 to 2 weeks. Film adds about a week for developing and scanning. If it rains, we reschedule to the soonest date that works for both of us.
What I care about most is how you feel when you open that gallery. I take my time, and I want you to love your photos.
